    This is the first version of the thing it supports the following:

    • check for user via IMAPs (TLS only)
    • check for password/authorization via SMTPs (TLS only)

    So, means the minimal set (ISUSER and AUTH) is implemented in order to let ejabberd works with user database on the mail server.
    This version is in production use and well tested during the runtime, however tests are also exists.
